There are thousands of affiliate partners you can chose from and you might also be wondering which is the best for you. In other words which one is the best choice so that you can make money fast. First things first, there is no way that it will happen fast ! I have tested and tested and tested… And I always go back to the established and more well known programs.

My conclusion is that a combination of 3+ affiliate partners will give you an excellent mix of ad types and all these products adjust well to your page contents.

1.) Adsense - Image only setting gives your website a more professional look and commonly leads to more clicks even though the images do not adjust as well as text ads would. A maximum of 3 blocks are allowed by Google so top, side and middle will be your best choice to place them.

2.) Amazon - Image and text link block in your side bar. I have also used a nice tag cloud in one of my blogs that adjusts well to contents and fills some empty space.

3.) Kontera - Contents links. Kontera scans the contents of each page and converts some of the regular text into links. If your visitor hovers over the link a small pop up window will include a click able link similar to Adsense. Really nice design and really doesn’t annoy which is also an advantage.

4.) CJ - Commission Junction is also a very good program and simple to work with. I don’t use it to much because it does involve more work than Google, Kontera or Amazon.

There are hundreds if not thousands of affiliate marketing opportunities offered to webmasters. Some of the more well known are Google Adsense, Amazon, Clickbank, Linkshare and Commission Junction. All these programs are fairly easy to setup, especially if you maintain a Wordpress blog as the codes can be added to the widgets.

I have several blogs and I personally prefer to use Google Adsense and Amazon as these programs adjust automatically to your contents and due to the vast amount of products these companies offer there will surely always be a product or service that suites your topic.

You will need loads of traffic to earn money with these affiliate programs as thousands of clicks will lead to small amount of product sales. My experience with AdSense is that you require 1000 unique hits per day to have a monthly income of 300 - 500 $US. This will surely depend on the niche you choose, keeping in mind the keywords with better payouts will also be very competitive and more difficult to for you to achieve top placement in search engines.

When searching the internet you will find loads of offers explaining how you can earn thousands of $ per month with Adsense and it sounds so simply, commonly these people or companies are trying to sell software that generated thousands of Adsense websites with “good” contents, or they sell hundreds of ready made niche websites with contents. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is ! First of all the software is sold several times hence you will not have unique contents. They all seem to miss out on telling you how difficult it is to get websites to rank and if you are starting off with a new domain you will need to spend thousands on link building or invest years in doing it yourself.
