Wordpress is simply the best and simplest way to create income from the net. With little effort and knowledge any person can create a blog, do some simple design customization and start posting. Each post you make will be a further page that will make you money. The vast number of plugins that are available are really great and some are extremely useful.
I will give a brief step by step instruction of what you need to do.
1.) Choose a short domain name, I suggest choose a name that is not directly linked to a product or service. If you use a common name like i.e online.net then you can later host a large number of blogs by adding sub domains such as yourblog.online.net .
2.) Choose a hosting package that includes unlimited sub domains and unlimited Sql data bases. Refer to the post i did a short while ago on hosting providers.
3.) You upload the wordpress files to your ftp account, connect the data base and you are ready to go. The blog is now setup with the standard WP template. You should choose a nice template, there are some very nice themplates you can download on various pages in the net. It is very important to personalize the blog as your readers will surely not like the “avarage” type blog. Also be sure that the template you choose supports side bar widgets. You will need them to place your ads.
4.) Start posting several posts so that the blog has some contents. You can either write what you know or believe or you can also post information you gather using your own words.
5.) Create an account with some good affiliates. Read my previous post regards this topic, top4 affiliates.
6.) Create the ads and then ad them to the widgets in your side bar. Don’t use to many ads as this will have a negative effect and readers will not return.
7.) Submit your blog and each post to the main bookmarking services to get some traffic. For these I suggest Digg, Technorati, Stumble Upon and Sphere.
